What I liked
Honestly, the best part of working here is the remote-first setup. I am based in Bengaluru, and skipping the Silk Board traffic everyday is a massive life saver. No more spending 2 hours in a cab just to sit at a desk. The culture is very different from the usual Indian startup grind; there is no 996 culture here. People actually respect your time during the day and dont expect you to be online on weekends. Working on a global AI-integrated product is also great for my career. Tbh, the tech stack is quite modern, and we get to solve interesting problems that you dont see in local service companies. It feels much more professional than the chaotic hustle you find elsewhere and the European mindset helps with mental peace.
Areas for improvement
The biggest issue is the time zone overlap. Since it is a European company, most of my meetings start in the late evening and go on till 9 or 10 PM. It really messes with my family time because I am basically working a swing shift while everyone else is eating dinner. Also, dont expect the crazy 30% hikes you get at other Indian firms. Their appraisal system is very European—steady and fair but kinda slow and conservative if you are looking for fast money. Since there is no physical office here, we miss out on basic perks like free food, team outings, or company provided cabs. It feels a bit lonely sometimes just sitting in a room alone without any face-to-face networking with your peers which is frustrating.

What I liked
Honestly, the best part is being remote. I don't miss the Bangalore traffic at all, and saving on petrol is huge. The culture is super merit-based too. Unlike other Indian firms where seniority rules, here if you hit your numbers, you get noticed. Also, we aren't working those crazy US graveyard shifts, so I actually have some kind of evening routine which is great for my health.
Areas for improvement
Tbh the pressure is real. Since it is a high-growth SaaS, the KPIs are pretty intense and quarterly reviews give me a bit of anxiety. Sometimes the overlap with Europe and US teams means I'm online way later than I'd like, so the lines get blurred. Also, I kinda miss having a physical office for lunch or festivals; it gets a bit lonely working from home all day without any campus perks.
